We are thrilled to be releasing a brand-new pattern this Friday called Luma.

Light as a feather, the Luma wrap is a great transition piece for cooler months. Luma features fun colour-block sections that are broken up by simple lace rows.

Luma can be worn as a wrap or bunched up as a scarf. 

We have knit up a sample that suits a more casual look; however, you could choose to knit this wrap in subtle tones (or all in one colour) for a dressy stole.

Luma is knit up using our luxurious Merino Cashmere Fingering, which will be available in store this Friday.  We will be putting together four, fun colour combinations, including the one shown above.  These yarns will be sold separately so you can switch around colours as you please.

We have a new club arriving in store Monday 24th September!

Club Trio Fade offers three unique, never-to-be repeated colourways that fade perfectly together.  We will be using three different dye techniques (tonal, speckled and variegated) to create a trio of colours that can be used together in a fade project.  There are three colour categories you can choose from:

• Autumn Tones (rich reds, yellows, mossy greens, browns, oranges)

• Winter Tones (deep blues, greys, purples, teals, neutrals)

• Spring (pale pinks, light greens, lilac, pale blue, pale grey). 

This is a one month club, all yarn will ship in the week beginning 22nd October.

This week we have a ton of yarns, a few new colourways as well as goodies!  Firstly let's talk about the yarns. 

Our lovely MCN Sock will be back in stock as well as the ever-popular Daintree base that was used for both the Timely and Itsumo cardigans by Libby Jonson.  We have put together a few of our favourite colour combinations that would look fabulous knit up as Timely cardigans; check them out below. 

We also have dyed up a few batches of our Sport base in all new colours!  I have been testing a new dye technique that produces richer variegated colours which are less likely to pool when knitting them. Above is the Nebula colourway; we also have Bayeux, Forest, Vanish and Rustic.

Let's not forget about the goodies! This week, we will be adding more Katrinkles Stitch Markers, in addition to re-stocking and adding a few more adorable designs.  Plus, our popular faux fur pom-poms are back, yipeee!

Also, we wanted to let you all know that this will be the last update until October.  We are going to Portugal for a holiday, and while the website will remain open, orders placed from Friday 31st August to Sunday 30th of September will ship when we return on Monday 1st October.  Also, just a little heads up: there will be a special club on offer Friday 28th September.  We will of course be emailing you with all the info closer to the time.

This Friday, we are super excited to be offering yarn kits for Libby Jonson's newest design, Floozy.  This beautiful cardigan features a striking yet simple slipped stitch colourwork yolk and multiple style options that allow you to customize this design as you like.

We have put together eight kits (shown below in XS-S), using both our Top Draw Sock and Merino Cashmere Fingering bases.  To help you select the right kit, read the sizing notes below.

This week we are super excited to be releasing our newest design, The Gathering Top.  The sweet little design is knit from the top down using a unique, yet simple construction consisting of just two increase rows on the front and back pieces. These shaping rows form small gathers that add a lovely, subtle detail to the top. The unique shaping means that the top fits with zero ease at the shoulders, and then gradually widens from the upper down to the mid bust, giving the top an A-line shape which is comfortable and very flattering to wear. The top is finished with a split hem. 

We designed this top using our Top Draw Sock base which, of course, will be the feature yarn this week!  We have dyed up a ton of colours we think would look amazing as Gathering Tops, all of which will be available this Friday.

If you follow us on social media, you will already know about our newest yarn Mohair Silk Lace.  We are totally in love with it.

Mohair Silk Lace is a very versatile yarn: it can be used on its own to create light-as-a-feather garments and shawls, or it can be combined with another yarn to create a fabric with a wonderful fluffy texture and feel.  This week, we are combining Mohair Silk Lace with our popular Top Draw Sock.

To combine both yarns you can use two strands in the same colourway, or pair two complementary colours together to get a fabric with a lovely depth of colour.  The picture above shows Top Draw Sock in the Eucalyptus colourway paired with Mohair Silk Lace in the Highlands.

This week we are so thrilled to be releasing a brand new yarn base, Merino Silk Sock.  This stunning yarn is a blend of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Mulberry Silk, each skein has 437 yards / 400 meters in 100g.  It truly is a luxurious yarn to knit and to wear.

Merino Silk Sock yarn would be a perfect substitute for our Daintree yarn, so you could use this yarn to knit the recent Libby Jonson pattern Itsumo, as well as the Timely Cardigan. Other pattern suggestions include:
