Fruit Tingles Shawl by Ambah O'Brien
Last week saw the release of Ambah O'Brien's new pattern, the Fruit Tingles shawl. We were instantly smitten with this shawl and decided to make it our spotlight pattern this week.
The Fruit Tingles shawl can be knit using a main colour and up to six contrast colours; however, we decided to stick with two colours. There have been some gorgeous two colour versions, so check them out on Ravelry.
If you are worried about knitting the little 'fruit tingle' stitch pattern, don't be, as Ambah has recorded a very helpful and easy-to-follow tutorial on YouTube. The rest of the shawl is a soothing garter stitch, so it's a very relaxing project.
Here are some suggested colour combinations using this week's Uptown Sock. Simply choose which one will be the main colour and the other will be the contrast. Just remember that you will need 2 skeins of the main colour and one skein for the contrast.
These are only a few suggestions, there are so many different possibilities! You can see all of this weeks yarn here and grab your copy of the Fruit Tingles shawl here.
Happy Knitting! xx
