Notion pouches...as knitters where would we be without them! I know I would be lost without mine. Its interesting how important these notions/small tools are to the process of creating a hand knit item. Every single notion is a necessity, each with its own purpose. I never gave much thought about the items contained in my notions pouch until I decided to photograph them. I realised that I've had these notions for years, each one a familiar sight, most are used daily and all of them well traveled. Wherever I go they go too. They aren't expensive objects but in terms of handiness they are priceless.
