The Solace Crop is a cropped version of our Solace Cardigan, designed with an improved neckline and an easy, wearable silhouette. It sits slightly higher at the front, making it lovely layered over longer tops, dresses, or high-waisted pieces.
Designed to be worn open, Solace Crop has a gentle bolero feel, with generous ease through the body and an almost batwing-like shape under the arms. A shawl pin closure would also make a beautiful finishing touch.
This kit includes the yarn needed to knit your chosen size, along with a complimentary PDF copy of the pattern. You will receive both the cropped and long versions of the Solace Cardigan pattern.

It is worked from the top down with dropped shoulders, grafted sleeves, and a shaped short-row neckline. The short rows along the neckband help the cardigan sit beautifully over the shoulders, giving it a soft, flattering drape.

Choose a size that gives approximately 10–15” / 25–38 cm of positive ease.
Because of the construction, much of the ease sits under the arms, creating the relaxed, softly shaped silhouette. If you would like to size down, please check the upper arm measurement in the schematic before choosing your size.

3.75 mm / US 5 circular needles with 100 cm / 40” cable
