This week, we are really excited to be releasing a new yarn base and a pattern!

Our new yarn is called Nest: it's a lovely blend of 70% mohair and 20% merino.  This yarn is a DK weight and can be used as a substitute for patterns requiring a mohair silk lace and sock held together (like our Cruiser and Freewheeler patterns).  The yarn is soft and cushy, and dyes up in saturated shades.  Here's a sneak peak of the colours available this Friday.

To accompany the release of Nest, we have designed a new sweater using this lovely base.  Wildwoods is a cosy, oversized sweater with a delicate lace yoke which is knit top-down with minimal shaping. The design is very simple, making for a fast and easy project.  Sizes and yardage are listed below.  You can substitute Nest with a skein of Mohair Silk Lace held together with a fingering weight yarn.  You will need approximately 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins of each base.

Sample size is 45.6”(101.5cm) shown on a bust size of 34”(86cm).
