Get ready for Stephen West’s 2026 Mystery Knit Along, the Color Kaleidoscope Shawl, with one of our specially curated yarn kits.
We’ve created five colour-filled kits for this year’s shawl, each bringing together eight shades designed to play beautifully alongside one another. Choose the palette you love, or select our Mystery Kit and let us choose one of the five colour combinations for you.
Each kit includes:
• Eight 50g skeins of Allure
• 400g of fingering-weight yarn in total
• Approximately 1600 metres (200 metres per skein)
• A carefully curated mix of tonal, semi-solid and speckled colours
Allure is a beautifully soft 100% extrafine superwash merino yarn with excellent stitch definition, making it perfect for the colour, texture and playful construction of a Stephen West shawl.
For a little extra fluffy fun, you can also add a skein of our Oh So Fine Suri Silk Lace. We’ve selected a coordinating colour for each kit, listed below. If you would prefer a different colour from your chosen palette, simply leave us a note at checkout.
Preorder information
These kits are available for preorder and will be dyed and shipped during the week beginning 21 September, ready for the first clue on 1 October.
Please note that the Color Kaleidoscope Shawl pattern is not included and will need to be purchased separately from Ravelry.

Each kit contains 50g of every colour listed.
Violet Shimmer: Bubble Bath, Peace, Black Cherries, Cedar, On Trend, Sweet Sumac, Rip Tide and Java.

Rose Glow: Pink Salt, Toffee, Peace, Tamarind, New Beginnings, Pure Gold, Deco Rose and Fluro Peach.

Emerald Sparkle: Bay, Big Teal, Minty, Cypress, Marimo, Mossy, Conifer and Sushi.
